TREES FOR LIFE
Trees for life is an associate program of Utsav Malayalee Samaj.
The program is intended as a forum for members of the community and general public to participate and support various actions supporting the creation and maintenance of a healthier environment and there by better quality of life in the Western suburbs.
VISION
To protect and improve environment as a valuable asset through community participation and partnerships
MISSION
Engage in environmental restoration and upgrade projects to establish, restore and sustain green cover in public places in partnership with other community groups and agencies.
Raise awareness on environmental issues, especially among children and youth members of the community
Contribute to promoting a better understanding of Australian flora, especially the native species.
Devise action plans to generate continuous commitment, resources and public goodwill to sustain and steer projects towards intended outcomes.

NATIONAL TREE DAY CELEBRATION 2018
Utsav Malayalee Samaj celebrated National Tree Day by planting native plants at The Ridge, Caroline Springs on 29 July.
